Jing Su
Jing Su is a Ph.D. candidate in Education at UCSB, whose research focuses on supporting children with disabilities and their families. Her dissertation uses a mixed-methods design to examine protective and risk factors related to family resilience and their associations with family outcomes among ethnic minority families raising children with developmental disabilities. Her broader research interests include inclusive education, mental health and well-being, family–school–community collaboration, and teacher education. Before joining UCSB, Jing worked across the business and private sectors, including advisory and professional services, as well as in research and international development settings, including Peking University and UNICEF. She holds an M.A. in Education from UCSB, a Master of Global Affairs from Tsinghua University, where she was a Schwarzman Scholar, and a B.S. in Accounting and Finance from Purdue University.
